[GRAMMAR] Advantage of/ to/ for/ from ?

最近看寫作範文的時候被搞混了,
究竟該用什麼樣的介詞呢?
我想還是看大量例句會比較有感覺。

When I was reading an article written for students preparing for TOEFL test. I'm confused about whether to use "of" or to use "to" in the following sentence.
"First of all, some minor disadvantages of/ to  living with an American family include both alack of privacy and little opportunity to be independent."
As I looked up in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, I found that the term "to" here is used as a function word to indicate purpose, intention, tendency, result, or end. Still not clear? That's fine! After I searched in some forums discussing about grammar, I found their opinions diverse. Some said that it's just language collocation. Fine, I'll go with it.

Let's read more sentences to exemplify the "language collocation."
